This just in. Today's weather forecast is sunny with a chance of tornadoes.
Today was an EXTREMELY crazy day (in weather that is).
So I awake to the sun warming my face and pillow. Then when I arrive at school, it starts to sprinkle a little. No big deal. Rains a little throughout 2, 3, & 4th period. Starts pouring during lunch and SSR (Silent Sustained Reading time. ew). About halfway through SSR it starts haleing for about 30 seconds. Pours some more. Hales again. *sigh* Around the middle of 5th there was a TORNADO!!!! There was a tornado warning in Long Beach, Mission Viejo, and Las Flores. There was a tornado in Mission Viejo. Oh and there was one in the sky of Ladera Ranch (about 3 minutes from my school), but it didn't touch the ground. I know that this is my second time being in an almost tornado situation, but this one was really scary. My 5th period teacher, Mr. Evanston, gave us a word of advice. He said (quote), "If you hear a freight train, dive under your desks, rear ends facing the window, and hold on for dear life." This was overall the scariest day by far.
He also said that the weather is supposed to be even worse on Thursday... That almost guarantees tornados at our school if there was a funnel forming in Ladera Ranch. AHHHH!!!!! =( This is really really bad.
